RAMGS/8 in ROM 3?

Howdy. I have a RAMGS/8 (from ebay) which works fine in both of my ROM1 machines, but fails in my ROM3 machine. I get random junk on the screen, similar to what one would expect from bad RAM, but it seems to group together in the upper left rather than being completely random.

It doesn't do it immediately, only after the machine has been on for 20 or 30 seconds.

I've tried swapping power supplies, in case my 5v rail in the ROM3 is poor, but no change.

I also have a couple of Apple RAM cards, as well as an Applied Engineering card, which all seem to work fine in the ROM3 machine.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there some kind of RAM shadowing issue that I need to solve some way, due to the 1Mb built into the ROM3 machines? I see that there is a place for a jumper on the card, but no header is soldered in.

Thanks!

I have the same problem after upgrading from a ROM 1 to a ROM 3 motherboard. I've run all the diags and they pass. I bought a ByteBoosters 8MB card and installed it and have no issues at all with the ROM 3 system, so it's something with the RAMGS/8 card.

Our main testing machine is a ROM3 so the card should work without any issues on ROM3 machines.
